Matt Bray - Under 8s
Matt Bray is a seasoned coach with an impressive 31-year tenure at the Carrum Downs Junior Football Club. Known for his dedication and expertise, Matt has been instrumental in shaping young athletes within our club.
Taking on the role as the under 8s coach this year, Matt’s long-standing commitment highlights his passion for nurturing talent and fostering a love for football amongst our youngest players.
His coaching style, experience, and unwavering support contribute significantly to the development and success of our players at CDJFC, making him a respected figure within the local football community.
Luke Townley - Under 9s
Carrum Downs Junior Football Club is pleased to welcome Luke Townley to our coaching ranks this season.
A fresh face on our coaching staff, Luke brings a unique perspective as the father of one of our players this season. With his son on the team, and his passion for the game he is sure to be an asset to this young group of kids.
We look forward to having Luke on board and seeing the positive impact he’ll have on our under 9’s players this season. Please join us in welcoming him to the club!
Mark Flanagan - Under 10's Red (Mixed)
Mark Flanagan, the current Vice President of the club, and is this year transitioning into also coaching the under 10’s at Carrum Downs Junior Football Club. Showcasing his commitment to our young footballers, his diverse background and dedication make him a fantastic asset to the club. We look forward to an amazing year from this talented bunch!
Michael Bailey - Under 10s Black (Mixed)
Carrum Downs Junior Football Club is pleased to welcome anther new coach to our team this year in Michael Bailey.
Another fresh face on our coaching staff, Michael is also a father of 2 players in our club and brings fresh insight and enthusiasm to the boys and girls he coaches.
We look forward to having Michael on board this year and witnessing the improvement and fun he brings to this talented group of kids!
Lochlan Clarke - Under 12's
Lochi is one of the newest coaches to join our coaching ranks and is a past player of our football club. After a fantastic year coaching our under 10’s last year, he is joining our under 12’s team and will be bringing his experience and enthusiasm to this years group.
Josh Scrivano - Under 15's
Josh Scrivano, a past junior player of the Carrum Downs Junior Football Club, is a prominent figure in the football community. He is a current senior player with the Skye Bombers and in 2024 Josh is set to coach the under 15’s and brings his expertise and leadership qualities as well as a strong background in football.
He has a commitment to developing young talent and brings a wealth of experience to his coaching role, ensuring the players under his guidance receive top-notch training and mentorship to excel in their football journey.
Chris Williams - Under 16's
Chris Williams, our esteemed Club President, is a visionary leader with a deep-rooted passion for football and a strong commitment to the Carrum Downs Junior Football Club.
Chris is our current Under 16’s coach and brings with him a wealth of experience. In 2023, under his guidance, his team had a stellar season, culminating in a remarkable journey to the preliminary finals. Despite narrowly missing out on a grand final appearance, the team’s success reflects Chris’ coaching acumen and the players’ dedication and skill.
With Chris leading the charge once again, the under 16’s are poised for continued growth and success as they aim to build on their achievements and strive for excellence in the upcoming season, with a hope that they will go that one step better in 2024.
